Adecco chairman to step down
The executive chairman of troubled recruitment company Adecco has announced that he is to quit at the end of the month, following a year dogged by problems with the company's accounts.

John Bowmer is the third executive to leave Adecco in the wake of the discoery of ‘material weaknesses’ in the internal controls of its North American operation.
The company has now said that it will revamp its board of directors, calling in several international business executives and Francis Mer, a former French finance minister.
