Charteris guides way to BACS

Technology consultancy Charteris has won a deal to help large organisations with their migration to the new online BACS system, BACSTEL-IP.

David Sear, a director of BACS, said: ‘From what we have seen so far from working with numerous early adopters, many corporate BACSTEL users do not have the internal resources to handle the company-wide issues of migration to the new system.’

For many companies, migration is likely to be a simple software upgrade. But for larger organisations – including public sector bodies – it will involve company-wide alterations to IT infrastructure and business processes.
