Capgemini CEO joins Unisys
Alwyn Welch has joined Unisys as vice president and general manager of its UK, Middle East and Africa region.

He replaces Brian Hadfield, who has left the company ‘consistent with his desire to pursue other interests’.
Welch was previously CEO of Capgemini’s UK and Asia Pacific regions, and has also served with internet incubator Brainspark, and also with Logica.
George Gazerwitz, vice chairman and president, Unisys EMEIA, said: ‘Alwyn joins Unisys with an impressive track record of sales and services leadership, and a particular strength in outsourcing services. His experience complements our business direction, and can be readily transferred to our markets.’
Welch said: ‘I am excited to be joining Unisys and building on the momentum that has been achieved under Brian’s leadership. I look forward to developing strong relationships with clients, employees and business partners over the coming weeks and months.’
