KPMG has announced the appointment of Rod Draper, head of the Inland Revenue’s shares valuation division until the end of last year, on a consultancy basis. Draper joined the Revenue’s estate duty office in 1963 and spent most of his 37 years at the revenue involved in shares valuation work. He was appointed assistant director in 1981, deputy director in 1985 and then head of SVD in 1987. For the last 13 years he has had overall responsibility for revenue policy.
