Accountant joins board of Welsh TV channel

CIPFA accountant gets post at S4C

Rheon Tomos, chairman
of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy in South Wales, has
been appointed to the board of Welsh language channel
S4C.

Tomos has taken up a four-year term as a member of the board.

His appointment was announced by
Shaun Woodward, the minister for
creative industries and tourism.

Tomos will be paid £8,700 plus expenses. S4C’s receives £90.5m in funding
from the government.
