Supperstone steps down to concentrate on impending R3 presidency and to spend more time with his family
Tony Supperstone, longstanding BDO partner and soon-to-be president of
insolvency professional’s body R3, has stepped down from the accounting firm
because of his impending new role and to spend more time with his family.
Supperstone, who is currently vice president of R3, steps up to take the
presidency in April. Combined with a desire to spend more time at home,
Supperstone has decided to step down as partner at BDO.
However, a spokeswoman confirmed he would serve for the firm on a consulting
basis for the next 18 months.
Supperstone has worked on many high-profile business recovery cases,
including roles as administrator at Planet Rapido, the producers of the
Eurotrash programme, and at Peak Fitness.
