PricewaterhouseCoopers is preparing a time capsule, catchily titled ‘Gen EDGE: 2001 Perspectives on the Power and the Promise of E-business’, to ‘celebrate the impact of the internet on e-business’. But unlike the famous Blue Peter capsules, this one will not be buried for future generations to unearth and marvel at. Instead, the Big Five firm, with online publisher ZDNet, is planning a virtual capsule that celebrates the impact of the internet and e-business, and the contents will be available for viewing online. PwC is inviting people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in the project because, it says, ‘together we can change the world’. www.pwcglobal.com.
