Bernstein moves up to CEO role at Emblaze

CFO promoted as telecoms solutions company makes a raft of changes
Guy Bernstein,
Emblaze’s current FD has
been announced as its new CEO. The appointment follows disclosure that the
current chief exec Eli Reifman is to become Vice-Chairman.
Bernstein was appointed as Emblaze’s CFO in April 2004.
Prior to joining the company,he started as chief financial and operations
officer of Magic Software Enterprises in 1999. Bernstein joined Magic from
Ernst
& Young Global (Kost, Forer Gabbay & Kasierer) where he acted as
senior manager from 1994 to 1997.
Naftali Shani, Co-Founder and Chairman of Emblaze said: ‘The Board would like
to
welcome Guy into his new position as the Group CEO. His appointment reflects the
new needs of the company for the next decade of growth. With the recent
acquisition of Formula Systems Ltd., our group has literally doubled in activity
and requires management power with stronger operational focus.’
Mrs. Hadas Gazit Kaiser, currently the Group VP of Finance will take over as
CFO.
Shani commented: ‘Mrs. Gazit has been one of our key assets in running the Group
finances and one of our best executives collaborating with the various Group
divisions and their Boards. She possesses commendable financial professionalism,
honesty and relentless dedication. She has vast financial experience working in
her past for E&Y and a
NASDAQ traded telecom
software vendor and the Board feels she will continue to provide the
transparency and personal communication required by our shareholders.’
