VAT videos available for businesses

Customs & Excise has launched two new videos offering businesses practical advice and support on how to deal with VAT and import/export requirements.

Produced in conjunction with the British Chambers of Commerce, the films form part of a programme to support business, including seminars and information packs for new businesses.

MP and financial secretary Paul Boateng, said: ‘Meeting our customers’ needs is at the heart of this programme, and it is essential we do all we can to support businesses and help them understand VAT and their legal obligations.’

‘Customs matters – Getting it right from the start’ and ‘Keeping records and accounts’ are available by calling the HM Customs & Excise National Advice Service on 0845 010 9000.
