Arctic Systems adviser given academic post

Former E&Y tax chief and adviser on the Arctic Systems case gets academic role teaching tax law at King's College, London

Anne Redston, the adviser who led criticism of HM Revenue & Customs over
the Arctic Systems row, has been appointed a visiting professor in law at King’s
College, London.

Redston, a former Accountancy Age Personality of the Year for her
work on work on owner-managed businesses in particular, will lecture students on
tax law and also do some teaching, she told Accountancy Age.

Redston has just recently returned from a four-month sabbatical in China
after leaving Ernst & Young in the middle of 2005.
