Former Revenue inspector joins Vantis

Listed accountancy consolidator Vantis has appointed a former tax inspector to head up its tax division.

Roy Faichney has been apppointed head of tax for the Vantis group and also managing director of Vantis Tax Limited, a subsidiary of Vantis plc.

Faichney has 15 years experience in leading tax businesses and his previous role was as director of the tax division of WJB Chiltern.

Commenting on the appointment, Paul Jackson, CEO of Vantis said: ‘We are very pleased and fortunate to secure the appointment of Roy Faichney.

‘Roy’s appointment significantly enhances our resource and experience in this area and continues our development of this important area of activity.’

Vantis are the 24th biggest firm in the UK, according to the Accountancy Age Top 50.
