The report provides a snapshot of the current best practice in some of the UK’s leading organisations, following consensus reached at the forum that budgets and the accompanying processes are still important.

Instead of being about cost-cutting, budgets are now more about contributing to value creation. The overall framework of control they provide is indispensable.’
