Old Bailey trial: Retired accountant killed in homophobic attack

Trial begins against man accused of stabbing retired accountant to death

A retired accountant was stabbed to death in a public toilet by a man with a
dislike of homosexuals, the Old Bailey heard yesterday.

At the beginning of what is expected to be a two-week trial, Mark Malone, 30,
was accused of plunging a knife into the back of 50-year old Peter Jeffrey
Akers, reported
