Firm to develop term ‘blue sky’ master plan
Mid-tier firm Grant Thornton have been appointed to lead a high level team to
create a long term ‘blue sky’ master plan for the regeneration of West Cumbria.
The West Cumbria Strategic Forum has asked the firm to identify
transformational projects and initiatives that will underpin the future economic
social and environmental well being of the area over the next 15 to 20 years.
The firm will work alongside a host of other companies and organisations
including Experian, Steer Davies Gleave; Lumis, the Leisure and Tourism
Organisation, Quo-Tec and Bostock Marketing Group.
Other recent projects undertaken by Grant Thornton recently include examining
the economic impacts of the London 2012 Olympics and developing a master plan
and financial model for the regeneration of the Maze/ Longkesh site in Northern
Ireland.
