Andersen sues Aberdeen businessman

Andersen are suing Aberdeen businessman Ian Suttie for around £151,000 for advice they gave on his tax affairs.

The firm is seeking payment for advice given on tax implications of a deal where Suttie sold shares in Orwell Group plc to Wetherford UK, advice given on buying Spanish property, and for transferring corporate investments, according to a High Court writ.

Suttie, of Parklea, North Deeside Road, Pitfodels, Aberdeen, has allegedly failed to pay a penny of the bill.

The writ was issued by Berg and Co of Manchester.
