Andrew Sugden, the former head of finance & business at BBC Entertainment, has today been appointed as chief financial officer of web start-up UpMyStreet.
He will have overall responsibility for business plan development and financial operations. Sugden has spent two years at BBC Entertainment where he rebuilt the finance team and introduced a new range of financial policies and procedures. He also brings experience of leading companies through periods of change, most notably in the five years spent in the UK cable communications industry as FD of SBC Cable Communications (UK).
