Ex-army pilot lands E&Y leadership role

Alan Pateman-Jones becomes new head of Financial Services at Big Four firm

Mark Otty has made a new appointment to his leadership board with Alan
Pateman-Jones becoming head of Financial Services at Ernst & Young.

Pateman-Jones was previously head of the retail banking division of E&Y.
His appointment to the leadership team takes Otty’s council of advisers to nine,
three times the size of Nick Land’s.

A qualified helicopter pilot, he spent a decade as an army officer before
going into banking and financial services.
