Budget 2003: Duty cuts for clean fuel

As part of a drive to get motorists to use cleaner fuel, Gordon Brown has promised that clean fuels will receive a major cut in duty.

This means that as of 1 January 2005 the government will reduce the duty on bioethanol fuel by 20p a litre.
