Mazars appointed administrators at Asian radio station

London-based station Club Asia enters administration

London radio station
Club
Asia
has entered into administration.

Administrators from
Mazars
were appointed to the Asian radio station formed in 2003 by Humerah Khan and
Sumerah Ahmad.

Joint administrator Rod Weston said the harsh economic conditions had hit the
station, but it would remain on air while attempting to sell it as a going
concern.

‘We have already received substantial interest and are liaising with a number
of interested parties. We are hopeful that a sale will be achieved as Club Asia
has a number of valuable strengths,’ said Weston.
