'As PCT finance director you will provide financial leadership and advice to the board, ensuring there is sound financial management and control and that resources are used effectively to meet local health objectives.
You will also contribute to the strategic development and corporate management of the PCT and work with other parts of the local health system on local implementation of the NHS Plan. Candidates must be CCAB qualified, ideally with experience at board level, and have a proven track record of successful financial management and control as well as excellent communication skills and an understanding of NHS service issues. NHS experience is desirable but not essential.’
