Sage's popular software revamped

Sage has launched the latest version of its popular accountancy software, Sage Line 50, with a variety of new features.

Following customer and reseller feedback, version 8, includes faster data sorting, automatic re-ordering of stock and direct links to Sage services. Sage also boasts that the product, aimed at the SME market, integrates with other Sage software as well as popular programs such as Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

The revised product also supports electronic banking, allowing users to make electronic payments and requesting statements for reconciliation whenever they are required.

A Sage spokesperson, said: ‘The growth of e-commerce and other technological developments means it is now more crucial than ever that small businesses have the necessary software solutions they need to take full advantage of the business opportunities on offer.’
