PwC appointed as administrator at VR Plastics
Joint administrators from PricewaterhouseCoopers have been called in to run
VR Plastics Limited and its holding company, VRPG Limited, based in
Nottinghamshire.
Stuart Maddison and Matthew Hammond of PricewaterhouseCoopers will run the
company, which produces plastic packaging solutions for manufacturers around the
UK, and employing 137 staff.
The company’s Stanton Hill division was sold immediately – following the
appointment of receivers – to Robinson Plastic Packaging Limited, protecting 69
local jobs.
Stuart Maddison, joint administrative receiver said: ‘We are pleased to be
able to announce the sale of the Stanton Hill division, preserving 69 jobs in
the local area. The administrative receivers are continuing to trade the
division at Pinxton while all options are explored.’
