Former PwC partner takes Rothschild post
Peter Smith, former senior partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, has been appointed as a non-executive director of NM Rothschild, the independent investment bank.
Smith, whose non-executive responsibilities have yet to be decided, is also a member of the finance and general purposes committee at the CBI and a councillor on the ICAEW. Smith retired from PwC, Rothschild’s auditor, at the end of last year.
Smith was replaced by Kieron Poynter. He had been senior partner at the firm since the formation of PwC in 1998.
