PwC appoints Thompson as risk advisory chief
Financial services stalwart given responsibility for PricewaterhouseCoopers risk advisory services group
Clare Thompson has been chosen to head up PricewaterhouseCoopers’ newly
created risk advisory services
group.
The division will consolidate the firm’s financial services group services
and advise on credit, market, operational, insurance, capital, liquidity,
business and strategic risks.
Thompson said: ‘The strategic goal of the new risk advisory group is to work
with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ top financial services clients to extend the focus
of their risk management functions from regulatory compliance to strategic and
commercial decision support, and to embed risk management skills and disciplines
into their front-line operations.’
