TakingStock - Ace Ventura branding for AC.

With Andersen Consulting spending a small fortune on promoting its new accenture brand, TS has discovered pranksters have already nicknamed the firm ‘Ace Ventura’.

While the nickname represents a clever play on words, it is hard to imagine the managing partners of the firm wishing to be associated with Jim Carrey’s bungling movie pet detective.

However, it seems partners at the firm have decided to celebrate the name change in a most hair-raising manner.

Some 16 partners in the Singapore office shaved their heads for charity, while four female partners agreed to dye their hair bright colours as they took the opportunity to turn the occasion into more than simply a rebranding exercise.
