Two ex-CIoT presidents join Mercer
Adam Broke and Robert Jamieson, both past president of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, have joined Top 50 firm Mercer & Hole following its merger with Adam Broke & Co.
The other partner moving into Mercer’s London office is James McCarthy, who has both business and client service experience.
The merger, which took effect on Monday, is designed to create a strong private client team in the City and will also further the firm’s position as a major provider of personal taxation services to the UK market.
Mercer senior partner Howard Wilkinson said he was delighted with the merger. ‘Our combined expertise will help cement the position of Mercer & Hole as one of the top providers of private client services in the country.’
The partners at Adam Broke welcomed the opportunity to join Mercer. Adam Broke said: ‘Not only will our clients benefit from additional resources, but also from a greater range of services to meet their needs.’
