PKF to make redundancies
The economic downturn has forced PFK to reveal it is to make an undisclosed number of redundancies.
The firm, the ninth largest in the UK, said only a small number of employees would have to go but expressed disappointment that natural wastage had not produced the cost savings required.
Martin Goodchild, PKF managing partner, said: ‘We had hoped that our natural wastage policy would avoid the necessity for contemplating redundancies but we are unfortunately going to have to reduce our staff levels by a small number to meet our cost cutting targets.’
