Former KPMG International chairman Colin Sharman is set to take up the chair
at FTSE100 insurance firm Aviva, according to reports.
Lord Sharman spent most of his career at KPMG before he retired in 1999. He
joined Aviva in January, and the Financial Times has reported that he
was in the final stages of agreement to take over from long-serving Pehr
Lord Sharman is chairman of Aegis Group, serves as a director of BG Group and
publisher Reed Elsevier. He is also a member of the supervisory board of ABN
Aviva declined to comment.
