Mandy Gradden, a former accountant, who qualified at Price Waterhouse in 1992, takes over from Andrew Alcock today. Her appointment was announced last month.
Gradden will join the group’s board of directors and will also act as company secretary.
Her previous roles have included the position of group financial controller at Dalgety and director of corporate development at Telewest Communications
Commenting on the appointment, Tom Black, chief executive of Detica said: ‘We are delighted to welcome Mandy to the Group Board. She has excellent financial and commercial credentials and I’m sure will play a key role as we take Detica forward in its next period of growth.’
