    ICAS appoints new FD

    New finance director for Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland

    ICAS has appointed Lesley Glen as its new finance director, replacing Karen
    Young who left the institute at the end of April.

    Glen was vice-principal (finance and resources) at Stevenson College, is a
    law graduate and CIPFA-qualified accountant.

    She will also have responsibility for the IT and facilities departments at
    the institute.

    ‘Lesley has an important role in building upon a strong financial performance
    in the last year,’ said chief executive Des Hudson of her appointment.
