Ten new non-execs at BAA
New owner makes boardroom changes
Spanish company Ferrovial has appointed ten new non-executive directors to
the board of airports operator BAA after buying the company for £10bn earlier
this month.
One of the new non-execs is Joaquin Ayuso Garcia, Ferrovial’s chief
executive.
The other are Nicolás Villén Jimenes; José María Pérez Tremps; Juan Bejar
Ochoa; Luis Sánchez Salmerón Lucas Osorio Iturmendi; Ghislain Gauthier; Macky
Tall; Robert Coté; and Eng Seng Ang.
At the same time, five BAA non-execs have resigned including Tony Ball,
former chief executive of BSkyB, and Mark Clare, deputy chief executive of
Centrica. The others to leave are Chris Fay; Alice Perkins; and David Roberts.
