Technology - News in brief.

– E-business solutions provider Dragnet has launched a programme to help accountants provide clients with e-business advice and consultation. Dragnet will provide project members with technology expertise and market information. Dragnet hopes this will enable accountants to combine first-hand client knowledge with the latest front-end e-commerce developments, providing SMEs with end-to-end e-business consultation services.

– PricewaterhouseCoopers has published a report on e-markets, claiming their success depends on creating level playing fields. The firm says squeezing suppliers’ margins could reduce electronic marketplaces into ‘cut-throat price bazaars’, killing this type of trading while still in its infancy.
