Hot on the heels of publishing a bulletin on the Combined Code for companies listed on the UK stock exchange, the Auditing Practices Board has issued a note on the requirements of auditors under the Irish listing rules.
The bulletin 2000/1 includes important material to help auditors deal with the Turnbull report on corporate governance, which was introduced last year encourage stronger risk management in listed companies.
The paper also includes guidance concerning the disclosure of individual directors’ remunderation and consolidates all previous guidance on corporate governance, directors’ remuneration and the directors’ statement on going concerns.
