ICAEW president joins FRC as director
The Financial Reporting Council has made two new director appointments, bringing onboard Paul Druckman, president of the ICAEW and CBI president John Sutherland.

The appointments to the accountancy regulator were confirmed by DTI secretary Patricia Hewitt.
Druckman has been appointed for one year and John Sunderland has been appointed for two years and both will receive salaries of £15,000 per year.
Druckman is chairman of the Consultative Committee of the Accounting Bodies, in addition to his role at the ICAEW.
John Sunderland is chairman of confectionary and beverage giant Cadbury Schweppes, in addition to his role at the CBI.
