Begbies Traynor is launching a network of multi-disciplinary firms around the
world known as the Begbies Global Network, which will focus on assisting
BGN is recruiting member firms member firms across most of the states in the
European Union, Africa, the US, and Asia Pacific, and is launched by BGN
chairman Nick Hood and executive director Michael Ferber.
Begbies predicts that the firms would comprise of insolvency accountants,
lawyers and trustees, turnaround and restructuring professionals, forensic
accountants, asset tracing experts and corporate financiers.
‘The launch today of the Begbies Global Network is another key development in
the expansion of the Begbies Traynor Group,’ said Begbies executive chairman Ric
‘As the Begbies Global Network grows, in the coming years we will expect to
see an increasing proportion of our turnover secured from work with an
international component. Importantly, we see this work as not just pure
turnaround or insolvency, but of a much broader scope, including raising
finance, restructuring complicated company structures or helping track assets
across many continents.’
BGN executive chairman Nick Hood said: ‘The lack of professional capacity is
a continuing constraint in emerging markets, where there are many opportunities
and where Begbies Traynor has a particular focus.’
