Kathleen Flaherty and Ian Clubb were both brought in as Marconi continues a move towards emphasising the operational side of the business on its board.
Clubb was a former finance director at BOC and is currently chairman of First Choice and Shanks Group while Flaherty is a verteran of the telecoms industry, having spent time as senior vice president for global product architecture and engineering.
Allen Thomas was the man to step down form the board. Thomas had been the company’s financial restructuring expert but this process is expected to be completed within the next two months.
