Provalis names new finance chief

Pharmaceuticals group Provalis has appointed a former Coopers & Lybrand Deloitte(now PricewaterhouseCoopers) trainee and engineer as its new finance director.

Peter Bream will take on the role of group finance director and will also join the board of Provalis as executive director from 1 July.

After training at Coopers, where he worked in management consulting and corporate finance, Bream worked at Esso UK, Gestetner and API Group where he fulfilled various financial and management accounting positions.

Provalis CEO Phil Gould said: ‘I am delighted to welcome Peter to the team. Peter’s commercial, corporate finance and strategic development experience will be important as Provalis develops its businesses and pharmaceutical and medical diagnostics in global markets.’
