Time for a change

Mobile data services company Avian Communications has appointed Jules Meunier as CEO. Meunier has worked for over 20 years in the mobile technology field at Nortel Networks, most recently as president of the wireless networks division.

Cornwell Affiliates has appointed Philip Crabtree as a principal consultant. Crabtree will focus on change and programme management within the private and public sectors. He joins from PwC, where he was a senior consultant.

Former ICL chief executive Keith Todd has replaced e-minister Douglas Alexander as chairman of the Broadband Stakeholders Group, which advises on high-speed access.

Isabelle Bellessort is the new project manager at supply chain company Scio. A former supply chain manager of Arvin Mentor, Bellessort will use her knowledge and experience of supply chain management in the new position.

Matthew Emmins has been promoted to associate director of sales for CMG. Emmins has worked for the company in England and the Netherlands during the past four years, and helped develop and implement a fuel card payment scheme with associated global accounting system. He previously spent seven years in the utility sector managing IT services for Hyder.

Consulting firm Bain & Co has promoted nine individuals from across its worldwide offices to the position of director. New directors Roger Siddle and Michele Luzi are based in the London office.

Voice and signal company Domain Dynamics has appointed Tara McKnight as sales manager. She joins from ORGA Card Systems where she was business development manager for emerging markets.

Parity has promoted Anne Thompson to group HR director and Kevin Gunn to group IT services director. Thompson has worked in HR within the IT sector for over 25 years, the last five with Parity. During Gunn’s two years with Parity, he has been involved in reorganising the company’s European staffing business, and led a strategic alliance team that focused on human capital management services.

Software applications integrator RCMS has promoted Roger Moore to general manager of its industry verticals business division. Moore joined the company from ITS, the maintenance arm of SITA, where he served as customer services director.

Janice Miller has become CEO of management consultancy Partners For Change. She joined the firm in 1996, becoming a director in 1999.

Financial sector and e-business company Mondas has named Tom McClelland as technical director of Mondas Information Technology. McClelland was previously technical director for DSR, which was acquired by Mondas in 2000.

Phil Fifield is the new sales director at real-time scheduling systems provider APSOLVE. Fifield was previously global e-server manager for IBM, where he worked on the company’s hardware portfolio.

CRM solutions provider Point Information Systems has named Eleanor Simpson as VP of sales EMEA. Her role will include helping to build in key markets such as financial services, telecommunications and call centres. Simpson has previous CRM experience with Octane, and worked in the telco sector with Vantive.

IT services firm Fox IT has appointed Nick Temple as a non executive director. Temple has served as chief executive and chairman of IBM UK. Since leaving IBM in 1996, he has served on many boards, including Electrocomponents, Blick, Auxinet, TCSL and Retail Business Solutions.

Edengene co-founder Andrew Katz has joined the consulting arm of the Corven Group, Corven Partners. Katz has also worked for KPMG and PA Consulting Group.

Unette Spencer has been appointed MD of data enhancement company First T. She joins from CACI where she was a sales manager for its financial services group.

Personal investment industry software and services provider Marlborough Stirling has appointed Gavin Norwood as director of integration and consultancy services.

Jacqueline Roberts has joined Penna Change Consulting as a principal consultant. Roberts joins from Accenture, where she has worked in the field of change management for the past 10 years.

BPO company edotech has appointed Stephen Mather as its new head of business development. Mather has seven years’ sales experience, including national sales manager at Hays Field Support and at a leading supplier of accounting systems to the legal profession.

IT management consultancy Newburn has appointed Steve Durbin as sales and marketing director. Durbin has held senior positions with Gartner and PA Consulting Group.

CRM applications and systerns provider StayinFront has named Sue Moore as project consultant for its UK operations. Moore has been involved in the CRM field for over five years, having worked at KMS as applications manager and has also served at Baan.
