ASB issues proposals.

The Accounting Standards Board has published proposals to prohibit the use of interest methods of depreciation for public comment.

The proposals are contained in an exposure draft of amendments to FRS15 – Tangible Fixed Assets and FRS10 – Goodwill and Intangible Assets. The deadline for comments is 25 August.
