Shipping and support services company VT Group has appointed Chris Rickard as
its new group finance director. Rickard will start work on the 1 July.
Rickard will be responsible for managing the group’s £744m turnover and
£2.7bn order book. He joins VT Group from Weir Group, where he also served as
Rickard is also a former FD of Meggitt PLC and has held senior finance roles
at BET Group and Morgan Crucible.
‘We have ambitious plans and Chris has the sector understanding, as well as
the operational, corporate and acquisitions experience to help us grow
profitably,’ Paul Lester, CEO of VT Group said.
