The judgement in the Professional Contractors Group appeal against IR35 is to be handed down by the Court of Appeal on Friday.
The verdict, set for 10am, follows surprisingly closely to the appeal hearing, which only finished earlier this month.
Such a quick judgement could indicate bad news for the PCG, which has taken up the fight on behalf of contractors. It lost to the Revenue in April, but its lawyers have advised it has a ‘good case’.
