    Two finance directors complete job swap

    Two finance directors of large businesses have completed a ‘job swap’ today.

    Simon Batey has been appointed chief financial officer of Thames Water,
    replacing Tim Weller who had already joined Batey’s former employer United
    Utilities.

    Prior to United Utilities, Batey served as group FD of AMEC from 1992 until
    2000.

    Thames Water chief executive hailed Batey’s appointment as ‘invaluable’ for
    his ‘extensive city experience’, and thanked Ralph Lindackers for his
    contribution as interim CFO.
