Mazars has prompted the
four-way consolidation of independent European legal firms German Hemmelrath
& Partner, French Francois Sagasser & Associes, Italian Albertazzi
& Assoiciati and Spanish Mazars y Asociados under the banner of
Marccus
Partners.
Marccus Partners will become the legal adviser to Mazars, bringing
multi-disciplinary and multilingual teams able to work in complex, cross-border
contexts.
The new firm will have more than 100 lawyers and 30 tax advisers, covering
mergers and acquisitions, real estate, finance, corporate restructuring and tax.
The firms’ client focus has been on the banking, insurance, real estate,
telecommunications, energy and car industries.
