Marconi FD steps down
Controversial Marconi finance director Steve Hare has stepped down, and will be replaced next January, following approval by the board and its creditors, the company announced today.

Hare, steps down with immediate effect and will be replaced by Chris Holden, a chartered accountant, who is currently Marconi’s group financial controller.
Holden will take his place on an interim basis until a permanent replacement is found.
Interim chairman Derek Bonham said: ‘I am disappointed that we have had to come to this conclusion regarding Steve but it is in everyone’s interest to clarify the position.’
