Vantis buys Kent-based firm

AIM-listed consolidator, Vantis, has acquired the the non-audit business of McBrides, a seven-partner firm, based in Sidcup, Kent.

All seven partners of the general practice firm will join Vantis and will continue to operate from Sidcup.

McBrides will help Vantis extend its geographical reach as well as provide support to its London offices.

The seven partners at McBrides generated profits of £1.06m on turnover of approximately £3.4m, which include the revenue from audit work.

Non-audit turnover is approxiametly £3m.

Commenting on the acquisition, Paul Jackson, Vantis chief Executive, said ‘We are delighted to welcome the partners and team of McBrides into the Vantis group.’
