Late night bar operator toasts appointment of new finance chief

Tim Andrews, former finance director at the Slug and Lettuce Group, has been poached to become group finance director at Po Na Na Group, the late night bar operators.

Andrews will focus on the corporate development of Po Na Na, including acquisitions, financial strategy and company’s relationship with shareholders and the City.

Christian Arden, managing director of the group, said: ‘Po Na Na is building on its achievements and is accelerating its development. The appointment of Tim Andrews is an important part of this, and his skills and experience are ideal additions to the current Board.’

The appointment is also part of the company’s preparations for a move to the London Stock Exchange from OFEX where its shares are currently being traded.Before joining Slug and Lettuce Andrews was at Merchant Bank Rea Brothers and advised leisure clients including Po Na Na.
