Agresso announces strong profits

Business software and integration provider Agresso has announced a strong set of half-year interims, led largely from its UK operations, which represented £9.3m of the group's turnover.

Overall the group posted £13.2m turnover compared with £11.4m a year earlier, and profits stood at £2.6m, from £1.5m.

Agresso said that it had made significant progress in getting its customers to adopt web-based technology, with a ?key focus? on e-procurement.

The business is just one of 70 organisations exhibiting at the latest Softworld Accounting & Finance show, held at Birmingham’s NEC on October 20-21.
