The Sema Group has been awarded a multi-million pound contract by the International Olympic Committee to undertake technology systems integration.
The agreement will cover all the summer and winter games between 2001 and 2008, beginning with the 2002 Salt Lake City winter games.
Sema will be responsible for the co-ordination and supervision of information technology suppliers as well as games management, events data management and operation management which includes the co-ordination of Olympic venues.
Sema has previous sporting management experience in events such as the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, the USA World Cup 1994 and Euro 1996.
