Oxford degree for Sir David
Sir David Tweedie, chairman of the International Accounting Standards Board, has been awarded an honorary degree by Oxford Brookes University.

Sir David is among 14 individuals honoured by the university and is joined by naturalist and author, professor David Bellamy.
Oxford Brookes University chose Sir David for his contribution to a field of study and as ‘an exemplary role model for students’.
‘His record establishes his standing as the most distinguished member of the profession in the UK,’ the university said in a statement.
Sir David will be awarded his honorary degree in a ceremony tomorrow.
