Misys merger sees revenue grow 70%
The merger of medical records software and financial technology has seen increased growth at UK IT company
UK technology company Misys has unveiled a 70% growth in revenue in its third
quarter results.
The software company, which provides IT to the financial sector, posted its
results this week to show that its Q3 revenue now stood at £193m and order
intake was now £121m

The growth could largely be attributed to the merger with US company
Allscripts, a medical record keeping software, earlier this year.
The company said that it was in line to deliver continued growth and targets
and that its net debt had fallen by £19m to £181m. It hopes to reduce its debt
figure by over 30% before the end of 2009.
